Did you have a baby within the past year?
Do you want to get back to being active, but don’t want to leave your baby at home?
Do you have aches and pains, especially in your pelvis, hips, and low back?
Are you cleared for exercise postpartum, but not sure where to start?
This class is for you!
-
At the end of the 6 weeks, you will be well equipped to return to an active lifestyle.
You will feel stronger and more connected to your core and pelvic floor muscles, ready to scale up your training.
You will have actionable strategies to address common postpartum symptoms like diastasis recti, pelvic pain, incontinence, and prolapse.
You will learn ways to incorporate alignment and tension reduction techniques not just during exercise, but throughout the day.
-
Each class will start with a warm up that promotes joint mobility.
We will then progress through a full body routine where each consecutive week will slowly scale up the exercises to rebuild your strength postpartum.
We will focus on breathing and alignment throughout the class to redistribute pressure and tension to help you move more efficiently while reducing pain and pelvic floor symptoms.
All of the exercises will be modified to accommodate you wearing your baby, so please bring them along!

I'm a multisport athlete and coach with a PhD in Kinesiology and Community Health. I'm also a mom and a certified Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism coach. I'm passionate about empowering you to take ownership of your body to feel great and enjoy the activities you love!
After I had my baby, I struggled with prolapse and reconnecting with my body. I felt like I’ve lost my identity as an athlete and couldn’t find my way back to training and being active. Even with all of my knowledge and experience, I couldn't bypass going back to basics. I had to focus on my alignment, biomechanics, and breathing patterns. I needed to take a slow and thorough approach to postpartum recovery which ultimately allowed me to return to fitness stronger than ever! I’m excited to share all of my strategies and tips with you in this 6 week postpartum REset.
